INTERNATIONAL MISSION
Jesus calls his church to make disciples both locally and globally. At Harvest Church we believe mission is not something separate from church life, but a natural overflow of following Jesus together.
We are committed to sharing the good news of Jesus and helping establish healthy local churches around the world. We do this primarily by partnering with people we know, trust, and are in relationship with, rather than supporting distant projects with no personal connection.
HOW INTERNATIONAL MISSION WORKS AT HARVEST CHURCH
Harvest Church is part of Commission, a global family of churches working together to plant and strengthen churches across the nations. Through Commission, we are connected to friends in different countries, often in challenging and persecuted contexts, who are building local churches, training leaders, and reaching communities with the gospel. Mission is most effective when churches partner together, pray, share resources, and encouragement.
HOW WE SUPPORT MISSION PARTNERS
We support international mission in several ways:
- Finance
A proportion of everything given to Harvest Church is set aside to support mission beyond the UK. This means that everyone who gives is directly participating in global mission. - Friendship
We value real relationships with those we support. We give time, especially at whole church meetings, to hear updates from our friends in other nations, and welcome them when they visit. - Prayer
Mission is sustained by prayer. We regularly share prayer points for our friends and encourage the whole church to stand with them in prayer.

Whether through prayer, giving, hospitality, encouragement, or going, we all play a part in God’s mission to see disciples made and churches established to the ends of the earth.
