Giving as part of Harvest Church

The Bible teaches us that, as followers of Jesus we're to be generous with everything God has given us, not just our money but the entirety of our lives. We see being generous as seeing the best, seeking the best and sharing of our best.

As we look to grow in generosity throughout our lives, the Bible shows that proportional regular financial giving is important. Giving, breaks the hold that material resources can have on us by acknowledging God's Lordship as we grow in trusting Him. This is faith in action. Regularly reviewing what we give helps us grow in trusting God by giving away a greater proportion of what He gives us to steward.

Regular giving as part of Harvest Church enables our work as a church to serve our town and beyond.

Make your gift go further with Gift Aid.

Gift Aid is...

  • A UK government scheme that lets charities claim back the tax you've already paid on your giving, turning every £1 you give into £1.25.
  • A way to boost your charitable giving at no extra cost to you - as long as you pay enough UK tax to cover the amount that will be claimed back.
  • Automatically processed by the charity once you complete a Gift Aid declaration, with HMRC sending the tax refund directly to them.

Gift Aid is...

  • NOT a commitment to regular giving - give whenever you want after opting in to Gift Aid.
  • NOT a promise of future giving - you can agree once and never give again, it's entirely your choice.
  • NOT available if you don’t pay UK tax - you must pay enough tax to cover what the charity claims back.
