How Grain House Trust and Harvest Church (“we”) use your information.
Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of your information.
Why are we collecting your data?
We collect personal data to provide appropriate pastoral care, to monitor and assess the quality of our services, to fulfil our purposes as a church and to comply with the law regarding data sharing. In legal terms this is called ‘legitimate interests’. When it is required, we may also ask you for your consent to process your data. We do not share your information with others except as described in this notice.
Track and Trace Covid-2019.
Currently it is a legal requirement for us to register anyone entering into Alton Maltings. This can either be done by donwloading the NHS Covid-19 and scanning the QR code - you will find the QR code at the entrance and in every room. The alternative is to sign in using the register left in the room for your event - if you prefer this way, in accordance with legislation we will lock the details away for 21-days and if we are not contacted by the NHS we will shred the register.

Storing your data
We hold your data for varying lengths of time depending on the type of information in question but in doing so we always comply with Data Protection legislation. We will ask you annually to check that the information we are holding in Church Suite is accurate and that you agree to us holding it. If the information is incorrect or you are not happy with us holding the information we will request you go to My Church Suite and update accordingly.
Who do we share your information with?
We will not share your information with third parties without your consent unless the law requires us to do so.
